This Hokkaido ramen chain is one of our community's favourites! Made with authentic ingredients including special Hokkaido wheat noodles, their umami-laden broths are savoury, rich, and full of generous servings of toppings too. If you didn’t already know, Daya Izakaya in Singapore is a halal-certified restaurant that serves delicious Japanese dishes in Jalan Kayu. It also happens to be the first halal izakaya in Singapore! ? Daya Izakaya serves fresh seafood and thick sashimi slices, so you know that you’ll be getting your money’s worth! 3. Hei Sushi
Hei Sushi is Singapore's first and only halal-certified kaiten sushi conveyor belt restaurant, where you can reach out and take any sushi to get your meal started. Each plate is colour-coded according to the price of the sushi too so you won't have to worry about blowing your budget. Not to be bested, their ramen menu has a fair share of options too.
Choose from classics such as Teriyaki Chicken Ramen and Ebi Tempura Ramen, or modern fusion such as Zarigani Ramen topped with crayfish. You can also have your ramen come with curry sauce or Kimchi soup for a spicy kick!

4. The Ramen Stall
Looking for a great meal in the Bugis area on a Friday night? You’ll want to call ahead if you’re craving a bowl of ramen because there’s always a queue at this popular restaurant! Located right along North Bridge Road, the Ramen Stall is a great place for a late-night meal as it opens all the way until 5am.
Ramen is (of course) their signature dish here, and the flavours have even been adapted to suit the local palate. Their Volcano Ramen is topped with spicy sambal that will leave your mouth burning - choose from 3 spice levels and see if you can take the heat! Can’t decide between Japanese ramen or Korean ramyun for your next meal? Why not get a fusion of both! Omoomo’s outlets bring you an amazing mix of both cuisines for the best of both worlds. All of their outlets serve customizable rice and noodle bowls, and their Pasir Ris, Kallang, Yishun, and Marina Bay outlets have ramen options too.
You can pick your own ingredients to combine your favourite parts of Japanese and Korean cuisine - or pick from their menu! Their Kimshu Ramen comes with Chicken Char Siew and Kimchi in a rich Kimchi Broth, and their Sutagi Ramen is cooked in spicy Gochujang broth and topped with generous beef steak.

6. Oishii Corner

Tucked away in a hawker centre in Toa Payoh, Oishii Corner serves a mix of authentic Japanese and fusion Japanese dishes. Owned by a Malay-Muslim couple, Mr Ramli Ibrahim and his wife, Mdm Ning Asih, the stall has been around since 2017 but it's still pretty much a hidden gem. According to Berita Harian, Mr Ramli was previously a cook before pursuing his own business. The best part is that prices of their dishes are super affordable, ranging from $4 to $6 for main dishes!
Looking for something comforting? Whether you're craving Inari, Beef or Teriyaki Chicken or Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen, you'll surely be left satisfied. 7. Fu-Men Japanese Udon & Donburi Restaurant
Udon is one of our favourite Japanese dishes. But did you know that each region of Japan has its variation of this popular dish? You can even try the Fukuoka region’s famous Hakata Udon here in Singapore at Fu-Men! ? Make sure to get the Gobo Ten bowl topped with burdock root tempura, one of the signature toppings for this dish. The sweet and crunchy burdock pairs perfectly with the chewy noodles! You can add side dishes such as sliced duck meat, spicy chicken karaage, or soft-boiled onsen eggs to make your dish perfect.
