Located at Golden Mile Complex, Thai-born Foo Yiling with her Singaporean Muslim husband, Hykel Jumari wanted to offer Muslim-friendly food to Muslim customers at the complex and finally opened up Seafood Bucket. The restaurant is not halal-certified yet but they use halal-certified ingredients only.

As mentioned by 8days, the couple brainstormed the idea of opening a Rod Fai Night Market style joint when they couldn't enjoy seafood buckets in Bangkok due to the pandemic for Hykel's birthday. The couple also believes that seafood shouldn't cost an arm and a leg and that is why they decided to keep their menu affordable for customers!

Starting from $12, you can choose a wide range of seafoods from their Mains section like mussels, squids, octopuses, and flower crabs! Plus, you could order the oyster platter for only $20! As for the Sets, it is slightly more expensive and price range starts from $22 but the sets are meant to be shared with 2-4 people. For $45, you can have more variety of seafood in a single plater with the Family Feast All-In set.

With the mains and sets, Seafood Buckets has three types of Thai sauces to drench the fresh seafood in which are spicy Signature Seafood Bucket SauceDry Tomyam Sauce, and Green Curry Sauce. Of course, since it's a Thai restaurant, they offer different levels of spiciness for customers to enjoy which are Mildly Spicy, Spicy, and Extra Spicy. You can also select a few side dishes from the menu! They offer steamed rice, Maggi noodles and sweet corn which won't cost you more than $2 except for their crab cakes that are priced at $10 and cocktail sausage at $5.

This new joint is worth the money for those seeking authentic Bangkok style seafood buckets in Singapore! Not only can you dine-in at the eatery itself, but Seafood Bucket also has delivery services to send freshly cooked seafood to your doorsteps ?
